David Waddell, Audit Partner

David Waddell, an audit partner with PS&Co., has more than 35 years experience in public accounting. He primarily serves the construction and real estate industries. At PS&Co., David's extensive experience and expertise is often channeled into clients' strategic and profitability planning, corporate taxation, business valuation and litigation support needs.

David is the co-author of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Surety Bond Manual and a contributing editor to the Miller Construction Guide. He has contributed to the Contract Surety, a textbook for the Insurance Institute of America, and is a speaker at National Construction Association conventions.

Active in the community, David is a member of numerous associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), San Antonio TSCPA and the Associated General Contractors. He is also associated with the Construction Financial Management Association, Surety Association, Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals and the Construction Industry CPA Consultants.

David serves as scholarship committee chairman of the Construction Financial Management Association and is a founding member of RSM McGladrey Construction and the Real Estate Network.

David holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas State University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Construction Industry Financial Professional.
