a process, or the organization as a whole to ascertain opportunities to increase efficiency
and/or effectiveness
in serving internal and external customers. May involve
utilizing a wide variety of methodologies. Results include
new organization structures;
redesigned processes,
policies, and procedures; new communication protocols;
and new reporting and performance management systems.
When is this service appropriate?
Organizations under any of the following situations: A recent
trend of poor performance and customer service; recent
or anticipated changes in customer needs and expectations; recent or anticipated
changes in the product/service
mix; recent or anticipated change in departmental or organizational/leadership.
All organizations, whether or not the above conditions apply, can benefit from
an independent review of operations every three to five years.
A
formal, confidential assessment of management and employee
attitudes and concerns towards your company regarding
organization and operational matters. Includes
data collection, tabulation, evaluation, conclusions,
and recommendations.
When is this service appropriate?
Organizations that have not conducted a survey
during the previous three years. Also, those that have
been experiencing symptoms of dissatisfaction such as increased
grievances, turnover, employee morale problems, supervisor – employee disagreements,
deteriorating safety records, reduced numbers of employee
referral or suggestions, etc.
