Interns at San Antonio-based Padgett, Stratemann & Co. LLP (PS&Co.) are giving back to kids with special needs. Teaming up with Kinetic Kids, the 2009 intern team is assisting with the non-profit's Lose the Training Wheels Bike Camp, a program designed to enable children to learn to ride bikes.  
 
"Our sense of community impacts our professionals at all levels of the organization. Our 2009 interns have selected an incredibly meaningful community initiative to engage in as a group. Kinetic Kids provides unique experiences through physical and creative activities in a supportive environment to children with special needs who may otherwise be excluded. The goal of the Lose the Training Wheels program is to enable children with special needs to learn to ride a traditional bike in five days. PS&Co. volunteers will work with the experienced Kinetic Kids staff to help them accomplish this goal. 
 
PS&Co. supports a number of charities serving the local community, including United Way, Boy Scouts and the Family Service Association.
