United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County is the largest, private health and human service organization in Bexar County. Contributions to United Way help fund 120 high-quality programs at 72 local agencies.

Since 1994, Padgett, Stratemann & Co., L.L.P. has participated in the United Way Campaign as a Pacesetter Firm.

"PS&Co. will be a Pacesetter firm in all we do for our Community, our Customers, our Team Members, and Our Industry." We have built our firm on this vision, and it was this vision that inspiried us as one of San Antonio's Pacesetter companies leading the United Way citywide campaign efforts.

United Way is important to San Antonio, its surrounding communities and it is very important to PS&Co. For over 13 years we have built a reputation with our participation as a Pacesetter firm; therefore, giving us recognition as leaders and recognition to our profession in our local community.

On September 25, 2006, PS&Co. kicked off our 2006 United Way Campaign as a Pacesetter firm setting our goal at an ambitious $80,000 mark. Our theme for this year’s campaign was “Back to School”. Team Members were encouraged to re-live all the fun they had back in school by participating in competitions such as the Spelling Bee Competition and Name the 50 States to name a few.

Our Campaign week proved to be very successful, filled with lots of Firm fun, memorable laughs and plenty of Team Member participation.

We are extremely delighted and proud to announce that Padgett, Stratemann & Co., L.L.P. raised a total of $82,821.10 to donate to the United Way of San Antonio.
